Dedicated to young female tech founders for the ultimate outcome of having an expanded ambition horizon and be equipped with a strong support network of resources, mentors, and role models; Flow Accelerator kicked off the first session in Female Entrepreneurship Breakfasts under the title of “Lift as You Climb by Female Tech Founders” on March 31st, 2021 within the theme of “Females in The Lead”.

Moderated by Rand Safi – Partnerships & Community Manager at Gaza Sky Geeks and through an interactive environment and format; three female tech stars shared behind the scenes’ stories & experiences and between the lines’ thoughts & actions in front of 42 young females and aspiring entrepreneurs whom the majority have a tech idea or an existing tech solution.

In a panel format, Flow Accelerator hosted Rowan Alawi, founder and CEO at Amal. Amal is a SAAS construction-focused software management solution for the workforce, born with 15 YEARS of experience in the Construction & Software Development Industries through bridging the gap between contractors within utilizing machine learning technology. Rowan is mechatronics engineer from Birzeit University in Ramallah and had been working in Freightos before initiating her venture

The second hosted tech founder was Shadan Nassar, founder and CEO at Shadana Yoga. Shadana Yoga is the first and largest Arabic platform for holistic wellbeing, using methods of Yoga, Meditation, Breathing and holistic lifestyle.

Angelique Abboud, founder and CEO at NafsiTalk was the third hosted founder. NafsiTalk brings Mental Health and Wellbeing closer to people, who otherwise are blocked by Stigma, Cost & Accessibility barriers. We use evidence-based therapy, through AI-based conversational chatbots. Angelique has a BA in urban engineering and MA in business administration and has studied coding along her journey.

In an aspiring evening; reality, beautiful moments, hard roads and secrets had been shared with openness by the three tech founders with an announced goal at the beginning of the session of “taking at least one thing with us to think about”.  The discussion touched different angles from the founders’ origin of ideas, to the “why” behind them, steps afterwards for validation, challenges, traction and fundamental terminology,
