As part of the EU-funded Green Forward Programme, implemented by SPARK in partnership with Flow Accelerator, the Green Circles: Networking Event was held on October 20, 2025, at Flow Accelerator in Ramallah. The event was designed as a dynamic, “speed-dating”–style networking session to ignite collaboration between Business Support Organizations (BSOs) and ecosystem stakeholders driving Palestine’s green and circular economy.

The gathering brought together more than 50 participants representing over 25 organizations, including policymakers, private sector leaders, development agencies, donors, microfinance institutions, and business enablers. The event aimed to create meaningful face-to-face connections, foster open dialogue, and encourage multi-sector partnerships that pave the way for collective action ahead of the upcoming Green Forward Conference — and for future initiatives beyond it.

The session opened with welcoming remarks from Majd Khalifeh, Managing Director of Flow Accelerator, and Dina Al-Masaeid, Regional Programme Director at SPARK, who emphasized the importance of partnership-driven approaches in building a sustainable and resilient green ecosystem in Palestine. Both speakers highlighted that collaboration across sectors is key to translating the green economy’s potential into tangible progress for communities and enterprises alike.

Eight leading Palestinian BSOs took part in the interactive networking round:

  • Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine (ESDC)
  • Palestine Green Building Council (PGBC)
  • BuildPalestine
  • Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Business Women Forum (BWF)
  • Rural Women’s Development Society (RWDS)
  • Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ)
  • Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC)

Throughout the session, participants engaged in fast-paced networking rounds, rotating every ten minutes to exchange ideas, share success stories, and explore potential collaborations. The setup encouraged direct dialogue between BSOs and ecosystem actors — sparking discussions on green finance, sustainable innovation, inclusive entrepreneurship, and policy alignment.

The dynamic and informal format succeeded in breaking traditional silos, creating an environment where creative ideas and practical partnerships began to take shape. By the end of the event, participants had identified numerous areas for cooperation — from joint awareness initiatives and green business advisory programs to policy advocacy and co-designed incubation projects.

Flow Accelerator and SPARK will continue following up with the participating BSOs to transform these discussions into concrete actions and impactful collaborations that further advance Palestine’s transition toward a green and circular economy.

By creating interactive spaces like Green Circles, Flow Accelerator and SPARK reaffirm their commitment to empowering changemakers — connecting people, ideas, and resources to accelerate sustainable innovation in Palestine.

The Green Forward programme is funded by the European Union and implemented at the meso level by SPARK and Flow Accelerator in Palestine to foster a green and circular economy in the Southern Neighbourhood.
