Ramallah, May 6, 2026, marking a new step in strengthening collaboration between academia and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Palestine, Flow Accelerator, represented by its Managing Director Majd Khalifeh and Palestine Ahliya University represented by its president Professor Dr. Emad Zeer have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with to enhance student innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning opportunities. This partnership establishes a joint framework to equip students with the skills, exposure, and networks needed to actively engage in Palestine’s growing startup ecosystem.
The collaboration will focus on implementing a series of entrepreneurial and innovation-driven activities that introduce students to practical aspects of entrepreneurship, leadership, and creative problem-solving. The first phase of engagement has already been launched through the Student Ambassadors Programme, a joint initiative under the Orange Corners Palestine programme, one of Flow Accelerator’s flagship programs.
The partnership officially kicked off with the signing of the MoU, right after conducting the first interactive session at the university. The session introduced students to Flow Accelerator, its work, vision, and programs, while creating a dynamic space for exploring entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup development
Building on this momentum, the partnership will continue with a series of upcoming sessions, including “Dare to Ask” scheduled for next week, followed by additional activities designed to deepen students’ engagement with innovation and entrepreneurial thinking during this year. These sessions and activities aim to cultivate curiosity, confidence, and a proactive mindset among participants.
Through this collaboration, students will gain access to hands-on learning experiences, direct interaction with ecosystem actors, and opportunities to participate in workshops, innovation camps, and pitching sessions. In parallel, student leaders have been identified and developed to act as connectors between their academic institutions and the broader startup ecosystem.
Representatives from both parties emphasized their shared commitment and willingness to nurture a culture of entrepreneurship among youth, and to create meaningful pathways for students to translate ideas into action.
This MoU reflects a long-term vision of empowering students to become active contributors to Palestine’s innovation landscape, while strengthening the bridge between academic institutions and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
مسرّعة الأعمال “فلو” وجامعة فلسطين الأهلية توقّعان مذكرة تفاهم لتعزيز ابتكار وريادة الأعمال لدى الطلبة.
رام الله، 6 أيار 2026 — في خطوة جديدة نحو تعزيز التعاون بين الأوساط الأكاديمية ومنظومة ريادة الأعمال في فلسطين، وقّعت مُسرعة الأعمال فلو ممثلةً بمديرتها التنفيذيّة مجد خليفة وجامعة فلسطين الأهلية ممثلّة برئيسها الدكتور عماد الزير مذكرة تفاهم بهدف تطوير فرص الابتكار وريادة الأعمال والتعلّم التجريبي لدى الطلبة. وتؤسس هذه الشراكة لإطار عمل مشترك يهدف إلى تزويد الطلبة بالمهارات والخبرات وشبكات العلاقات اللازمة للانخراط الفاعل في منظومة الشركات الناشئة في فلسطين.
وتركّز هذه الشراكة على تنفيذ سلسلة من الأنشطة الريادية والمبنية على الابتكار، والتي تعرّف الطلبة على الجوانب العملية لريادة الأعمال والقيادة وحل المشكلات بطرق إبداعية. وقد انطلقت المرحلة الأولى من التعاون بالفعل من خلال برنامج الطالب السفير، وهو مبادرة مشتركة ضمن برنامج أورانج كورنرز فلسطين، أحد البرامج الرائدة لمسرعة الأعمال فلو.
وانطلقت الشراكة رسميًا مع توقيع مذكرة التفاهم، وذلك عقب تنفيذ أول جلسة تفاعلية بعنوان “تجرأ أن تحلم” داخل الحرم الجامعي. حيث تعرّف الطلاب على مُسرّعة الأعمال فلو وكيفيّة عملها ورؤيتها وبرامجها، فيما وفّرت الجلسة مساحة ديناميكية لاستكشاف ريادة الأعمال والابتكار وتطوير الشركات الناشئة.
وبناءً على هذا الزخم، ستستمر الشراكة من خلال سلسلة من الجلسات القادمة، من بينها جلسة “تجرأ أن تسأل” والمقررة الأسبوع المقبل، تليها مجموعة من الأنشطة المصممة لتعميق انخراط الطلبة في مفاهيم الابتكار والتفكير الريادي على مدار العام. وتهدف هذه الجلسات والأنشطة إلى تنمية روح الفضول والثقة بالنفس وتعزيز العقلية المبادِرة لدى المشاركين.
ومن خلال هذا التعاون، سيحصل الطلبة على فرص للتعلّم العملي، والتفاعل المباشر مع الفاعلين في المنظومة الريادية، والمشاركة في ورش عمل ومعسكرات ابتكار وجلسات عرض المشاريع. وبالتوازي، تم اختيار وتدريب مجموعة من الطلبة القادة ليكونوا حلقة وصل بين جامعاتهم والمنظومة الريادية الأوسع.
وأكّد ممثلو الطرفين التزامهم المشترك بتعزيز ثقافة ريادة الأعمال بين الشباب، وحرصهم على خلق مسارات فعّالة تمكّن الطلبة من تحويل أفكارهم إلى مبادرات قابلة للتطبيق. وتعكس هذه المذكرة رؤية طويلة الأمد تهدف إلى تمكين الطلبة ليكونوا فاعلين في مشهد الابتكار في فلسطين، مع تعزيز الترابط بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية ومنظومة ريادة الأعمال.
