In a significant step towards advancing sustainable economic development, Flow Accelerator and SPARK have renewed their strategic partnership, officially launching the “Green Forward” Programme in Palestine.

The agreement was signed today by Dina Almasaeid, Regional Programme Director of the Middle East at SPARK, and Majd Khalifeh, Managing Director of Flow Accelerator, marking the beginning of a transformative initiative aimed at fostering a green and circular economy in Palestine.

Green Forward is designed to strengthen the green business ecosystem by leveraging network effects and peer learning to promote sustainable growth. The programme focuses on building the capacity of Business Support Organizations (BSOs) to act as critical ecosystem enablers, driving innovation and sustainability. By providing comprehensive support and fostering collaboration, Green Forward seeks to cultivate an inclusive green economy, addressing local environmental and economic challenges.

The programme’s holistic approach includes capacity-building for BSOs, strategic advocacy for policy reforms, and empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to adopt sustainable business models and access green financing.

The Green Forward programme is funded by the European Union and implemented by SPARK and Flow Accelerator in Palestine to foster a green and circular economy (GCE) in the Southern Neighbourhood region.
