Eight Business Support Organizations (BSOs) from Palestine participating in the Green Forward Programme joined the Arab Impact Summit 2026, held in Amman, Jordan, on 5–6 October 2026. The Summit, convened by Alfanar Venture Philanthropy and Anara Impact Capital, brought together social enterprises, investors, philanthropists, ecosystem builders, and changemakers from across the Arab region to exchange knowledge, build connections, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

The participation of the Palestinian BSOs was part of Green Forward, a programme funded by the European Union and implemented by SPARK and Flow Accelerator in Palestine, with the aim of supporting the transition towards green and circular economies across the Southern Neighbourhood region.

From Networking to Action

On the second day of the Summit, Green Forward brought together Business Support Organizations from Jordan and Palestine for an interactive session titled “Interactive Networking, Group Dialogue & Action Planning.”

The session created a participatory space for BSOs to exchange experiences, explore their complementary strengths, and identify practical opportunities for future cooperation.

Discussions focused on areas including green business support, resource efficiency and the circular economy, green finance, market access, sustainability and ESG, green skills, entrepreneurship, and SME support.

Moving beyond networking, the discussion focused on turning connections into concrete opportunities for collaboration. Through facilitated group discussions, participating organizations explored opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint activities, referrals, institutional partnerships, and cross-border collaboration between the Jordanian and Palestinian ecosystems.

Contributions came from Eng. Maen Ayasrah, Director of the Center of Energy & Environmental Sustainability in Industry (CEESI) at the Jordan Chamber of Industry and Green Forward – Jordan; Dina Al-Masaeed, Regional Director at SPARK; and Majd Khalifeh, Managing Director at Flow Accelerator – Green Forward Palestine, alongside participating Jordanian and Palestinian BSOs. By connecting organizations across both ecosystems, the session aimed to lay the groundwork for continued collaboration beyond the Summit and strengthen the regional network of institutions supporting green entrepreneurship, sustainable businesses, and SMEs.

Through Green Forward, these connections are part of a broader effort to strengthen the capacity of Business Support Organizations and create more opportunities for green and circular businesses across the Southern Neighbourhood to access knowledge, partnerships, markets, and support.

The Green Forward Programme is funded by the European Union and implemented in Palestine at the meso level by SPARK and Flow Accelerator to support the green and circular economy across the Southern Neighbourhood.
