As part of the Green Forward Programme, implemented by SPARK in partnership with Flow Accelerator and funded by the EU, the second Partnership Lab, Green Finance Connect, was held on July 1, 2026, in Ramallah. The event brought together 43 representatives from more than 13 financial institutions, development agencies, and donors, along with over 15 Business Support Organizations (BSOs), including BSOs participating in Green Forward, to strengthen connections and expand access to green finance opportunities across Palestine.
Building on the programme’s commitment to strengthening the green and circular economy ecosystem, the Partnership Lab created a platform for direct connections and knowledge exchange between organizations supporting green beneficiaries and those working to enable it. By connecting Green Forward BSOs with financing actors and development partners, the event aimed to increase awareness of available green funding opportunities, strengthen coordination, and encourage future collaboration.
The event opened with an overview of the Green Forward Programme and the objectives of the Partnership Lab, highlighting the importance of stronger connections in advancing green and circular economy initiatives in Palestine. This was followed by the Green Opportunity Open Mic, where representatives from 10 financial institutions, donors, development agencies, and private sector organizations presented their funding opportunities, products, strategic priorities, and available support mechanisms for organizations working in the green economy.
Then the event continued with open networking, enabling participants to identify shared interests and explore opportunities for collaboration. The informal format encouraged direct interaction between Business Support Organizations and financing actors, allowing participants to discuss funding pathways, partnership opportunities, and shared priorities for supporting sustainable and green businesses.
As the final activity under the Green Forward Launchpad Track, this Partnership Lab reinforced the importance of bringing together the key actors shaping Palestine’s green finance ecosystem. By creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, relationship building, and direct engagement, the event contributed to strengthening ecosystem connectivity and opening the door for future collaborations that will continue supporting the growth of the green and circular economy.
Flow Accelerator looks forward to seeing the connections established through Green Finance Connect evolve into meaningful collaborative initiatives and increased access to financing opportunities that support organizations driving sustainable and green across Palestine.
The Green Forward Programme is funded by the European Union and implemented at meso level by SPARK and Flow Accelerator in Palestine to foster a green and circular economy in the Southern Neighbourhood.
