Today we wrapped up The DigitALL: Seeking Solutions for Gender Equality hackathon that aimed to identify digital solutions to strengthening gender equality and access to available services, particularly for marginalized women in the West bank and Gaza.
The participants worked hard to create innovative solutions that could have a real impact on achieving gender equality. We’re thrilled to announce that three teams won, uSTEM and Tawaoniyeh Tech from the West Bank and Techno Talk from Gaza with their incredible projects that tackled important issues around gender equality and service access.
Congratulations to all of the participants for their hard work and dedication!
A distinguished panel of experts evaluated the solutions and consisted of Natasha Al-Khalidi، General manager of Women Affairs Technical Community, Majd Khalifeh, CEO at Flow Accelerator, and Shadi Othman, the Communications and Information Officer of the European Union.
The hackathon was implemented by The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in oPt (OHCHR oPt) in collaboration with Flow Accelerator, and we’re so proud of everyone who took part! Stay tuned for the video documenting the whole journey!
