The Capital Market Authority organized a dialogue session titled “Opportunities for Using Technology in the Insurance Sector” as part of its partnership with the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Empowerment and the Federation of Insurance Companies, with the support of the German Cooperation (GIZ)

The dialogue session was attended by the Vice-President of the Federation, Nihad Asaad, and representatives of the entrepreneurship sector in Palestine, the CEO of Flow Accelerator Majd Khalifeh, and the director of the NGate program, Mona Dhamidi, in the presence of partners, entrepreneurs and those interested in this field.

The Director General of the Insurance Department at the Authority, Ayman Al-Sabah, confirmed that this event came in implementation of the Authority’s strategy aimed at developing the insurance sector, employing financial technology, keeping pace with developments in this framework, and upgrading and expanding the reality of insurance services to serve all customers, especially citizens, and facilitate access to these services.

The speakers presented their vision for insurance technology for insurance companies and the entrepreneurial sector, and the challenges and obstacles that prevent tangible progress in this context. In addition to exploring the required interventions to incubate and develop technology solutions in the insurance industry.
