The Renewable Energy Innovation Fund

The program created a complete, sustainable, and creative environment for innovation, testing, and scaling up ideas, related to renewable energy solutions for agribusinesses. This program created concrete opportunities for startups to successfully launch. The program targeted youth, emphasizing on females between the ages of18 – 29 from all communities. The fund included an awareness campaign, a hackathon for 50 entrepreneurs, in which 5 teams have been enrolled in an incubation program that offered pre-seed grants, prototyping, mentoring, market linkages and outreach with partners and investors.
